Big news—The Garden MMA is installing a sauna next week! This is a game-changer for your recovery and performance. Regular sauna use helps with muscle recovery, endurance, and overall well-being, making it a great addition to your training routine.

And if you’re thinking about joining us, here’s an extra perk: Anyone who signs up in March and April will have sauna access included!

🥋 Why Use the Sauna?

Hard training takes a toll on your body. A sauna session after class can help with:

🔥 Faster Recovery – Heat increases blood flow, reducing muscle soreness.

💦 Detox & Flush Out Toxins – Sweating helps eliminate built-up waste from intense training.

💪 Better Endurance – Regular heat exposure can improve your conditioning and stamina.

🧘‍♂️ Relaxation & Stress Relief – Helps lower cortisol levels and promotes relaxation.

📜 Sauna Guidelines at The Garden MMA

To keep the sauna clean, safe, and comfortable for everyone, follow these rules:

Max time: 20 minutes. Overheating isn’t beneficial.

Only 4 people at a time. Respect each other’s space.

Wipe down with Defense Wipes before and after. We don’t have showers, so this is a must.

Sit on a towel. Keeps the space clean and hygienic.

Bring a wet bag for your clothes. Keep your gear fresh and odor-free.

Stay hydrated. Drink water before and after to prevent dehydration.

Listen to your body. If you feel lightheaded, step out immediately.

🎒 What to Bring

Make sure to pack these essentials:

A clean change of clothes (something comfortable and dry for the sauna).

A towel (to sit on inside).

A wet bag (for sweaty clothes after your session).

Defense Wipes (to wipe down before and after use).

⏳ When to Use the Sauna

🔥 After Training – Best for muscle recovery and relaxation.

Before Training (Optional) – A short session (under 10 minutes) can help loosen muscles.

🛌 On Rest Days – Great for improving circulation and reducing overall stress.

The sauna will be ready next week—get ready to train, recover, and repeat!
