Ages 4-5 / 6-9 / 10-12

At The Garden MMA, our kids' programs are thoughtfully designed to introduce young learners to the benefits of martial arts through age-appropriate, engaging classes. We offer three unique classes: Seeds Jiu-Jitsu (ages 4-5), where our youngest students build basic coordination and listening skills in a fun, supportive environment; Sprouts Jiu-Jitsu (ages 6-9), which introduces fundamental Jiu-Jitsu techniques along with a focus on respect, teamwork, and personal growth; and Youth MMA (ages 10-12), a more comprehensive program blending Jiu-Jitsu, striking, and self-defense to develop strength, discipline, and confidence.

Seeds Jiu-Jitsu 4-5

Our Seeds Jiu-Jitsu program for ages 4-5 offers a fun, engaging way to introduce the youngest learners to the basics of Jiu-Jitsu in a safe and supportive environment. These classes focus on building coordination, balance, and listening skills through play-based learning and age-appropriate drills. Kids will begin to develop a foundation of movement, learn to follow instructions, and gain confidence in their abilities while making new friends. Our instructors emphasize respect and patience, creating a warm atmosphere where your little one can thrive at their own pace.

Sprouts Jiu-Jitsu 6-9

Sprouts Jiu-Jitsu, for ages 6-9, builds on the foundations of martial arts by introducing young students to more structured techniques and movements. Kids will start to explore fundamental Jiu-Jitsu skills, such as basic positions, escapes, and defensive tactics, while reinforcing focus, discipline, and respect. Our experienced instructors make each class engaging and encouraging, fostering a sense of accomplishment as kids build strength and confidence on the mat.


In addition to physical skills, Sprouts Jiu-Jitsu emphasizes character development and teamwork. Children will learn how to stay calm under pressure, practice sportsmanship, and gain self-discipline that helps them in both martial arts and life. Youth MMA 10-12

Our Youth MMA program, designed for ages 10-12, provides a comprehensive introduction to mixed martial arts, blending elements of Jiu-Jitsu, striking, and basic self-defense. These classes are geared towards kids who are ready for more structure, building athletic skills, discipline, and confidence. With a focus on technique, conditioning, and agility, our Youth MMA program challenges students to set personal goals, improve their fitness, and cultivate the mental strength essential for martial arts.
