Whether you're a complete beginner, a returning student, or a competitor — this schedule was built to support your goals. All levels welcome. Don’t have gear yet? We’ll lend you a Gi or gloves for your first trial.

Judah Ciervo, Founder

Jiu-Jitsu & Muay Thai  ​​

Black Belt in Jiu-Jitsu under Balance Studios, Muay-Thai Kru under Ajarns Andy Russell and Sakasem Kanthawong

Judah, a seasoned Muay Thai and mixed martial arts competitor, began his training in 1997 and competed at the amateur level for 9 years and as a professional for over 4 years . In 2002 Judah became a Muay Thai instructor and began training in Sambo and MMA while coaching and competing for the Philadelphia Fight Factory where he was a sparring partner for future MMA standouts such as Eddie Alvarez and Zach Makovsky. With a successful pro MMA debut in 2008 and pro Muay Thai debut in 2009, Judah fought both nationally and internationally, including a bout against the 2010 Pradal Serey national champion in Cambodia. Although no longer competing in Muay Thai or MMA, Judah continues to compete in No Gi grappling, winning the first Finishers Open at 145lbs in 2018, placing 3rd at the IBJJF No Gi World Championships as a brown belt in 2021 and was awarded his black belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu from Phil and Ricardo Migliarese in January 2022.



Keren Fedida, Founder

Blue Belt in Jiu-Jitsu, Yoga Instructor 

Keren is a mother, artist, photographer. Since discovering Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu in 2016, she has embraced the art as a way to challenge herself and grow. In 2017, she earned her yoga certification from Dhyana Yoga, blending her passion for movement, recovery, and mindfulness into her practice and teaching.

At The Garden MMA, Keren manages operations, design, outreach & community engagement, ensuring the gym remains a welcoming space for members of all backgrounds. 

With a professional IT background & travel consulting for high-profile clients, including global corporations, government & international organizations, Keren brings creativity & professionalism to the gym.
